Poplar Shade is a Benefit Company , this means that we have chosen to support a social and environmental cause in addition to normal business activity. All our production follows high standards of transparency and efficiency.

We have also decided to take the path to become B Corp to certify our commitment at an international level. On this page you can read our environmental impact report and find out more about the Benefit world.

We think about the life cycle of our products

We only use sustainable materials in order to guarantee products with the lowest possible environmental impact.

Furthermore, for each eyewear produced we compensate the CO2 emitted by planting trees: to date we have planted more than 1200 trees with ZeroCO2 in Guatemala to compensate for the 1200 glasses produced plus the various unique and tailor-made examples.

Next step: B Corp

We are preparing for B Corp certification to guarantee our international charitable commitment.

A long and meticulous process to certify that all aspects concerning a company are virtuous and respectful of all those sustainability objectives that we have always set ourselves.
